The iB969 by iHome is a dock for your iPad, iPhone, iPod and other medium size devices that you use daily (like the Nook or Kindle). This dock fixes one of your major problems - plugging in all your electronics. When I get up every morning, I need to have my iPhone, my iPad and my iPod all ready to go, or else my whole routine gets messed up. The iB969 starts at $50.
The iB969 by iHome gives you two docks (for iPod and iPhone), an iPad resting/charging area, and a little area for you to put your wallet, car keys, or anything else important. (You can also fit a Kindle here as advertised, but who needs a Kindle when you have the iPad?) One of the docks for iPod/iPhone allows you to sync it with your Mac, while being inside the stand. Also one port is called fast charge. This will charge your iPhone extremely fast, from 0% to 100% in less than 30 minutes.
There are only a few drawbacks to the iB969. First, if your iPad has a case on, it won’t fit in the standing bay for it. You also have to supply your own iPad connection cable that goes from dock to iPad (this was a huge bummer for me). There’s no point in shipping three extra cables that you won’t need if you’re only using this for Apple stuff, and not sending an Apple iPad cable instead. Finally the light that lights up, a very light blue, is pretty annoying in a dark room at night.
The iB969 is a great bedside companion. It charges all your devices, while you still have the option to check for an email in the middle of the night. What’s even cooler is if you buy an app like Night Stand Central for iPad, it turns your iPad into the perfect device for showing the time and weather next to your bed. It almost seems like it’s from the future.
Unlike other stands on the market, iB969 by iHome lets the user dock iPad sideways. I think that this is safer and much better looking for a stand, instead of having iPad straight up.
iHome’s solution for a multipurpose dock is perfect. If you are looking for something to go next to your bed, you need this. I hate docking my iPad vertically and I think iHome did a great job with the iB696. Its price is also fairly low considering the Apple dock for iPhone 4 is $30.

Yes the Fast-charge feature sounds nice but anyone with any expertise knows that charging a battery that fast will only permanently damage the long term battery life! I would stay away from that feature at all costs. if you need a fast charge then too bad, you forgot to charge overnight, your fault.
