Sidewinder Deluxe by Marware, is a stylish, feature packed, protective case, for iPhone 3G and 3GS. It’s really two cases in one because one covers your iPhone and protects it from drops. The other one hooks on to that and has a clip to put on your belt and a headphone cable management feature, called a sidewinder. The sidewinder is a piece of plastic that comes out of the case and allows you to twist you headphones around it. This also comes with a protective shield and a cleaning cloth.

Sidewinder Deluxe by Marware is a very stylish case. You can order the half that goes on to the iPhone in black or clear. I would suggest getting the black since the sidewinder part can only come in black. The two case are both textured different. The iPhone part is glossy while the sidewinder part is not. They go very well with each other.

To put the SideWinder on is very simple. Just put the iPhone in the bottom and the top will click in. If you put it in opposite (screen facing in) it still fits and there is a little bit of room to protect your phones screen. The Sidewinder part is pretty simple too. The Sidewinder expands to reveal a convident holder, allowing you to wrap your headphone cables around it. When this is not expanded you can’t even tell it exists.

In terms of protecting the phone, I was very impressed with the protection that this case provided. I dropped from pocket height onto a concrete surface without seeing any damage to the phone or case. This gives you a certain amount of peace of mind. If you are scared of liquids spilling on you phone at a meal, you can just place you’re phone right up. The clip on the bottom will rise your phone from the table, insuring that no liquid will hit it.

The Slidewinder Deluxe by Marware does have some drawbacks. The material that the case is made out of isn't resistant to fingerprints. And, because of the sidewinder cable management feature on the side, most people's fingers will get in the way of the camera when holding it.

Nevertheless, the Slidewinder Deluxe by Marware is one of my favorite cases for my phone. It protects the iPhone from liquids and drops while being stylish, deserving it a 87 out of 100.
