Game Grip for iPhone 3GS by Marware is a smooth, light, protective add-on for your iPhone 3G or iPod Touch. The Game Grip is a case you put onto your iPhone to improve your gaming experience. When it’s in your hand it feels like a PS3 controller. The case is made of a rigid plastic with rubber skins on the sides for comfort. The case gives you access to all ports though it will not look the same with third party connectors.

The Game Grip comes with a soft silicone sleeve to protect your iPhone. It is important to use this so your iPhone won't get scratched and to keep it from sticking in the case. If you are using an iPod Touch you need to use the sleeve as well as put a piece of fabric in the back so it has the same look as the iPhone.

If you want to listen to headphones or charge your phone the Game Grip has you covered. Just take off the rubber skins on the side and feed the cable through. There is a channel to guide your cable through. Once that is done you can put the sides back on. With an Apple cable it should look the same, but with a third party cable it might not.

This is probably the most comfortable case I have ever used. The Game Grip works very well with most games but not all. Games that I found easy to use are Super Monkey Ball, X-Plane, Moto Chase, and Brothers In Arms. It is not as good for games that use portrait mode.

This case has a few negatives. When using it, there is no way to put your iPhone or iPod to sleep. You also can't turn the ringer off or on. The last negative is that it is a very tight fit.

Overall the Marware Game Grip is great for individuals who love to play games on their iPhone/iPod Touches. I would rate this product an 85. The idea for a case like this is unique and it really improves the gaming experience. If you have an iPod Touch 2nd generation I would recommend you to definitely get it!
