By Will T on Jan 08 11 | 7:10 pm, in Apple News
Apple's computers and electronics are known for their outstanding scores on environmental tests. however, a recent study by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) shows that, in fact, Apple retail stores barely meet their requirements. Read more.
ifoAppleStore reports that the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has given Apple stores a very low rating, which is in direct contrast to the Apple brand.
"According to the group’s Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design (LEED) standard, a typical Apple store rates high for indoor environmental quality, average for energy, and low for building materials and resources."
This report is shocking people around the web who used to think that Apple was one of the most environmentally friendly companies in the country.
