Another iPod Touch With A Camera In the Wild, 3rd Gen Prototype?

By Davies DeCesare-Fousek on Jul 27 | 6:26 pm, in Apple News

Another iPod Touch with a camera has surfaced in the wild. This time though, its been found in a California Recycling Center and apparently still works. Read more.

Edgar Bernal (@bernedga) posted a picture of the iPod Touch with a camera that he has on his twitter account asking for help from TheTechReviewer (@TheTechReviewer) as to what to do with it. It is said to still be functioning, albeit with many scratches and is running iOS 3.1.3. This was the latest build before iOS 4, so it was likely recently "recycled". The iPod Touch appears to have only a rear-facing camera and no front-facing camera, faster processor, higher resolution screen or even a camera application. This is definitely a 3rd Generation prototype that was most likely scratched in favor of a 4th Generation iPod Touch with a front-facing camera (for FaceTime)and improvements across the board. So don't expect to see anything like the one below.
