Pre-orders For The iPad Start Tomorrow

These are the goals of every product, whether it be an iPhone case or a laptop.� It�s hard to produce something that hits all of these goals at the same time.� But Incipio has succeeded with its new DuroShot iPhone case. One of the nice things that Incipio does is include free extras for people who are buying their first iPhone case.� They include a free screen protector which works well, along with a nice thin black stand that holds your iPhone while it is in the case.� And finally they include a cleaning cloth for your screen.� Most companies don�t do this. The DuroShot itself is pretty stylish, and is a three part case.� The first step is to put a plastic cover on your phone.� This covers all plastic parts, and if you stretch it it fits well.� The second step is to put on the back.� While you are putting it on you have to make sure that you do not alter the plastic part on your phone.� Finally the last part you put on covers the bezel and is the same color as the back. �Unfortunately this process is difficult, and is the only drawback to the case. �When the case is fully on your phone, you will notice it has a cool pattern on the back which allows you to actually grip it. We found that the DuroShot by Incipio is great for protecting your phone.� It covers all sides and corners, and the rubber piece stops dirt from going through the case and scratching it.� As for liquid protection when your phone is sitting on a flat surface, the rubber creates a shield against a liquid spilled on the surface. Overall the DuroShot by Incipio is a great case, if you put it on correctly.� We feel that the case deserves a 90 out of 100, the only flaw being the difficulty of putting it on.

iBook Prices Revealed in Latest iPad Ad

During the 82nd Annual Academy Awards Apple aired its first iPad ad. On further investigation we realized that the clip about the iBookStore had prices. They were priced at $7.99, $8.99 and $14.99. To see the prices your self, watch the ad and at about 3 seconds in the prices will show up.

Apple Airs First iPad Commercial During Oscars

During the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, Apple pulled out a surprise for all the viewers at home. It was the first ever iPad commercial. The ad focuses mainly on the different apps on the iPad, and every time the app changes the location does. To check out the ad you can click here. The ad aired at 8:53 EST.

Portal 2 Coming To a Mac Near You

After Value (creator of Steam) released several teaser images of games using Steam with Apple logos on them last week, it was confirmed today by a screen shot that at least one of the games powered by Steam will be coming to the Mac. Since the game was powered by Steam, it means that all games powered by Steam will be coming. Chck out the screen shot here.

No Tethering On The iPad

Replying to an email sent out by Jezper S�derlund, Steve Jobs says that you can not tether an iPhone to a WiFi iPad. This feature was not expected to be on the iPad, but having it confirmed makes life much easier for the rest of us.

Apple Announces iPad To Go On Sale April 3rd

Apple today announced that the iPad will be available to purchase on Saturday April 3rd, which is 6 days after Apple's previously announced ship estimate. Starting in one week you will also be available to pre-order your device online and have it arrive the day it comes out, or in some cases with the iPhone even one day earlier.

Fortune Names Apple World's Most Admired Company

Fortune today named Apple the World's Most Admired Company. This is the third time in a row that Apple has won this. The survey was based on a poll of 4,200 corporate executives. Apple was followed by Google in second place. To view their article click here.

Google Comments on HTC VS. Apple Lawsuit

Apple yesterday slammed HTC with a law suit covering over 20 patents. Most of the phones that were being effected were the Android headsets. Today Google said to TechCrunch that they weren't in the law suit, but would stick behind the Android headsets. Many speculators have said that Apple may sue Google after it finishes with HTC.

Apple Sues HTC for Patent Infringement

Today Apple has sued phone making giant HTC for Patent Infringement on 20 iPhone related patents. Steve jobs also provided a quote which says basically that Apple can watch other people steal there ideas, or they could do something about it. It is the same quote used in the Apple VS. Nokia law suit. However HTC denied receiving the papers.

27" iMacs Now Shipping

Apples iMac store page has listed the 27" iMac's shipping time to 24 hours, instead of it's previous time of 3-4 weeks. Recently Apple has been claiming that all of the display issues have been fixed on all 27" iMacs. So go get one.

Netflix Coming To The iPhone/iPad?

Netflix has started a survey on their site asking people if they would like to instant view movies and TV shows on the iPhone/iPad. Wouldn�t this be a really cool feature? Unfortunately the shows will only be broadcasted over Wifi. We will keep you tuned if any word comes from Netflix HQ.

iPad Delays Inbound?

Analyst Peter Misek from Canaccord Adams believes that there will be shortages of iPads, when they go on sale sometime this month. He says that there will be about 300k wifi iPads in the US at the time of the launch date. This means that only about one in a thousand people will have the chance to get one. I sure hope I get one.

Apple To Open Up 25 New Retail Stores in China

One of the many questions asked today in Apple's shareholder meeting in California was about Apple Stores in China. The question was "How is Apple going to progress it's progress in China? When received the question Apple said that they are planing to open "up to 25" new Apple Stores in China over the next 24 months. That is about a store or two a month.

Palm Stock Implodes

Once thought as a serious competitor to the iPhone, Palm is about to implode from lack of sales. They even announced lowered guidance on their phones even though it just launched on Verizon and it will be coming to AT&T in months. Right now it seems like it would be a good time for someone like Apple in the Smart Phone market to buy Palm. There stock also exploded today dropping 17%.
